The Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX) is a member owned, not-for-profit, 501-C6 with its central office in downtown Sacramento and satellite offices in Roseville and Eldorado county. SRBX has as one of its primary goals to assist contractors with economical and well managed worker’s compensation insurance. SRBX works closely with State Fund to do this. We are State Fund Group 692 working in partnership to provide the highest quality workers’ compensation coverage and service to our contractor members. Currently, we have over 300 participants and 5 million in premium volume.
To qualify for SRBE’s Group Program (6% premium discount) a company must:
- Have 50% or greater of all payroll (your classifications) must be on the State Fund approved construction schedule;
- Have an experience modification of less than 110;
- Have a loss ratio of less than 50% in the past two completed policy years;
- Complete an appropriate State Fund WC application to become an SRBX insurance member.
History has told us that by making safety a priority and offering a complete package of safety services to our insurance group participants and membership claims and subsequent loss ratios will decrease as we send our employees home safety from work. In recent years our insurance group overall loss ratios have been significantly less than State Fund’s general market. We believe that an active and consistent safety program is a critical part of running a business, further more it is a requirement of law. The SRBX Safety Program is designed specifically to be there with you in support as a training and information resource as you develop and maintain your company’s safety program.
Jim Neely is SRBX’s full time safety coordinator. The overall Safety Program is his responsibility as well as answering general questions about the workers’ compensation group plan.
